"The suspect in a Florida school shooting bought the AR-15-style rifle used in the attack legally a year ago, authorities said Thursday. Nikolas Cruz, 19, is charged with murdering 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where he had been expelled for fighting, according to authorities.
Cruz lawfully bought the semiautomatic rifle last February, according to Peter Forcelli, special agent in charge of the Miami office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The gun, a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 .223, was purchased at Sunrise Tactical Supply, according to the Associated Press.
Federal law allows people 18 and older to legally purchase long guns, including this kind of assault weapon. With no criminal record, Cruz cleared an instant background check via the FBI criminal database. If somebody is adjudicated mentally defective or has been committed to a mental institution, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal law..."

Но в тот же день оружейного шопинга он НЕ СМОГ БЫ ЛЕГАЛЬНО КУПИТЬ БУТЫЛКУ ПИВА, чтобы отпраздновать столь удачную покупку.
Для того, чтобы стать достаточно взрослым и купить бутылку пива, ему пришлось бы ждать еще 3 года. Но он УЖЕ был достаточно взрослым, чтобы убивать...

Date: 2018-02-17 03:58 pm (UTC)В школах должны преподавать основы психологии, социологии и когнитивистики. Чтобы ребёнок имел хоть какое-то представление о себе и об его окружающих. Пускать детей по граблями выстланной дорожке, надеясь будто бы они сами всему научатся на отбивании лбов граблями - преступление. Одни научатся - большинство нет. Имбицильного уровня родители, разум потерявшие потребители, за пустые обещания голосующие недоизбиратели, затравленные дети, "школьные стрелки" и т.д. по длиннющему списку - из одного корня выросшие ветви кустарника. Вот этот корень и надо рубить - а не винить вокруг кустарника жужжащих мух..
